When it comes to studying abroad, the majority of us prefer to pursue a Master's degree. We don't consider pursuing a PG Diploma since we believe it is less valuable and will not help us acquire employment. Our selection should be based on the country we intend to target. If you want to study in the United States, a Master's degree is your best option because a Postgraduate Diploma will not qualify you for a work permit. However, if you want to continue your education in Canada, a PG Diploma may be a preferable alternative for a multitude of reasons, including the fact that it is regarded and recognized internationally and provides you with a work visa. Let's understand the difference between these two programs.

The greatest example of students who reject the usefulness of PGD is studying at an IIM in India. These institutions do not award degrees, but rather a postgraduate diploma. The IIM tag is what gets you the job. Similarly, how successfully you perform and network there, among other things, will help you acquire the desired position.
