In fact, With just over a million of population, its cities have limited population and nearly half of its population reside in two of its cities namely, Saskatoon and capital City Regina. University of Saskatchewan

First, the main campus of the university is in Saskatoon, the largest City of the province. The university carries a century old educational tradition when it primarily focused on agriculture development. Later this institute introduced other subjects like medicine, science, engineering and law. In fact, this is public-funded research based university well-known for its state of the art campus and federated colleges. It has about 27,000 students from about 130 counties and roughly about 23 percentages of students are non Canadian.

Further, it offers more than 130 undergraduate and 35 post graduate programs covering almost all major streams. It’s state of the art labs make this university as one of the most research intensive university. Some of the most popular courses offered by university are: B.Sc. In Computer Science, BE in Computer engineering, B.Com in Management, Bachelor of Science in Nursing and B.Sc in Kinesiology in Exercise and sport Studies.

University of Regina

Next, the university is situated in Regina, the capital city of the Saskatchewan province. With its century old education legacy, it provides more than 120 undergraduate and 76 post graduate courses in 13 different streams. Such as, the student strength of this education institution is about 16,500. And, the students from as many as 90 countries study here. As per the university bulletin, about 17 percent of the students are international students.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic

With its four campuses, this institute serves the vocational requirement of Saskatchewan province as well as its industries. As the major industries in this region are Agriculture, Mining and allied activities, there is always a big demand for those who are certified skilled workers.

The First Campus of this Polytechnic is in Saskatoon. And, the major schools in this campus are School of Construction, School of Business, School of Health Sciences, School of Nursing and School of Transportation.

Luther College

It is the Federated college of University of Regina which means all curriculum of the University including the tuition fee will be equal to the U of R. It also means that on completion of the course, student will get the degree from U of R. This college is also famous for its liberal art courses and faculties. Moving further, this college fosters the spirit of community services by offering excellent opportunities to the students to choose its various programs.

The academic structure of the institute includes a number of subjects like anthropology, biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, data science, environmental studies, management, nursing, neuroscience, philosophy, physics, sociology, theatre, social work, and political science.

Parkland College

With its five campuses and one training center, this public-funded college is affiliated to University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The main stream offers by this college are Nursing, Business, Computers and Engineering. This college is also very popular among international students especially from Bangladesh, India, Philippines, and Nepal. St.Thomas More College (STM):

Finally, it is popular as STM by the students and faculties. Situated in Saskatoon, this is the federated college of University of Saskatchewan. Because of its geographical location, it has access to the facilities of the University of Saskatchewan. The college is rather known for the courses related to liberal art and further offers as many as 240 courses in various streams.
